Want to help out at your local tennis club, gain valuable personal and professional skills, or find a way into a career in sport, then why not become a Tennis Leader?
At NET 360 our accredited LTA coaches run LTA Youth Tennis Leaders programmes for young people aged 11 to 18.
Many of our members at Beverley Park Tennis Club, students from schools we work at, and participants on our summer camps have become Tennis Leaders. There are so many benefits:
- A way into a career in tennis or sport
- A chance to help out at their local tennis club or summer camp (and get paid!)
- A great addition to your CV
- Developing confidence
- Making new friends
- A Tennis Leader t-shirt and certificate!
The core module only takes 3 hours, with one further elective module of one hour. And it’s great fun!
We run Tennis Leader courses at our home of Beverley Park Tennis Club and in schools.
More information is available on the LTA website but please do contact us if you or anyone you know would be interested in signing up to one of our future Tennis Leader programmes.
Either email us at hello@net360cic.uk or complete the online form to register your interest.
John has been a member of Beverley Park Tennis Club since he was six years-old. When he was 14 he took part in the Tennis Leaders programme. From being quite a shy young man, John grew in confidence.
It wasn’t long before he was helping out at LTA Youth sessions. He then went onto achieve an LTA Level 1 Assistant Coach qualification and has been running our Tots session on a Saturday morning. The little ones love him!
“I have learnt so much from helping out at the tennis club and working with the NET 360 team. I never thought I would have the confidence to run a session but I have enjoyed it so much. My voice has got much louder too!” John
Emily was an active parent involved in Beverley Park Tennis Club through her two children who attend the LTA Youth sessions on a Saturday morning. She completed her Tennis Leaders course to add to her CV when looking for teaching jobs. Now she is combining her love of teaching and sport as a fully-fledged member of the NET 360 coaching team. She is currently working towards her Level 2 coaching qualification with the LTA.
“For me it all started during the Tennis Leaders programme. Little did I know I would end up in the job of my dreams! It’s never too late!” Emily
